{The people intermittently on pause in paradise after the victory of Good over Evil. They had turned themselves into rational moral people to escape punishment. They were turned back into evil people and locked in maximally strong pain. They had become as if new people after the change and the new good people weren’t as if killed. Their lives continued when the torture of their past selves paused. It was seamless from their perspective though and they didn’t notice it.
